Overview

This website is operated by Mid-MO Companies LLC, doing business as Mid-MO Strap. On this page, "we," "us," and "our" mean Mid-MO Strap. By visiting our site or buying from us, you use our "Service" and agree to these Terms of Service (the "Terms"), including the other policies we link to here. These Terms apply to everyone who uses the site: browsers, customers, and contributors of content.

Please read these Terms carefully before accessing or using our website. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any Service.

Section 1: Online Store Terms

By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state of residence. You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws). You must not transmit any worms, viruses, or any code of a destructive nature. A breach or violation of any of the Terms will result in immediate termination of your Services.

Section 2: Products, Custom Builds, and Safety

Our products include rigging, tie-down, towing, and lifting hardware, and custom-assembled products configured through our online builders (the "Custom Builder," the "Sling Builder," and related tools).

Working Load Limits (WLL): Any working load limit, capacity, or rating shown on the site is the manufacturer-rated value for the individual component under the stated conditions. The rated capacity of an assembled product is governed by its lowest-rated component and the hitch or use configuration. Ratings are provided for reference only and are not a substitute for professional judgment.

Customer responsibility: You are solely responsible for selecting products appropriate for your application, for inspecting products before each use, and for using them in accordance with all applicable standards, regulations, and manufacturer instructions (including OSHA, ASME, and DOT requirements where applicable). Never exceed the rated capacity. Never use damaged equipment.

Third-party products: Some products we sell are manufactured by third parties. The manufacturer's ratings, instructions, and warnings govern their use. Products must be used only in a reasonably safe manner and only in the manner the manufacturer intends.

3D renderings and diagrams shown in our builders are for illustration only. Actual product appearance may vary.

Custom builds are made to order to the specifications you select and are generally not returnable except where the product is defective or does not match your order (see our Returns & Exchanges Policy and Shipping Policy).

Testing & ratings

Chain assemblies (welded): Every welded chain assembly is built in our Missouri shop and can be proof-tested in-house before it ships. A proof-test certificate is available on request for chain assemblies. Ask at the time of order. Chain and fittings meet or exceed the applicable NACM, ASME, and OSHA requirements.

Straps and webbing: Our webbing is batch-tested. Samples from each production run and spool are pulled to failure to verify the rated breaking strength. Individual straps are not load-tested before shipment. Published Working Load Limits are based on the component manufacturers' ratings and our batch test results, with each assembly rated at its lowest-rated component. Inspect every strap before each use and never exceed the Working Load Limit.

Hardware and loose fittings: Working Load Limits and grades shown are the component manufacturer's rated values for the individual part under the stated conditions, provided for reference and not a substitute for professional judgment.

Section 3: Accuracy, Pricing, and Availability

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content of it) without notice. Certain products may be made to order and have a limited lead time. We are not liable to you or to any third party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service. We make reasonable efforts to display product colors and specifications accurately, but we cannot guarantee that your display will be accurate, and some product photos may show a different size or finish of the same item.

Section 4: Errors, Inaccuracies, and Omissions

Sometimes our site has typos, inaccuracies, or missing information in product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, or availability. We may correct those errors, and update information or cancel orders, at any time without notice, even after you have placed an order.

Section 5: Orders and Payment

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. By submitting an order you authorize us (or our payment processor) to charge your payment method for the total amount of the order, including applicable taxes and shipping. The price shown in our builders at the time you add an item to your cart is the price calculated from our then-current component pricing. The amount charged is the amount shown at checkout.

Section 6: Third-Party Links and Tools

Certain content, products, and Services available through our Service may include materials from third parties. We are not responsible for examining or evaluating, and we do not warrant, the offerings of any third parties. We are not liable for any harm or damages related to the purchase or use of any third-party materials, products, or services.

Section 7: Personal Information

Your submission of personal information through the store is governed by our Privacy Policy.

Section 8: Disclaimer of Warranties; Limitation of Liability

We do not guarantee that your use of our Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. The products and Services delivered to you are (except as expressly stated by us) provided "as is" and "as available" for your use, without any representation, warranties, or conditions of any kind, either express or implied, including all implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

In short, to the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses or injuries that come from using our products or this site. In no case shall Mid-MO Companies LLC, our directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, or suppliers be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind arising from your use of any product or the Service, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Because rigging and load-securement products can cause serious injury or death if misused, you assume all risk associated with the selection, inspection, and use of the products.

Section 9: Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Mid-MO Companies LLC and our affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, and employees from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

Section 10: Governing Law and Venue

These Terms and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Missouri, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or any product purchased from us shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Crawford County, Missouri, or the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Section 11: Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. These Terms, together with the policies posted on this site (including our Returns & Exchanges Policy, Shipping Policy, Warranty Policy, and Privacy Policy), make up the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the Service and supersede any prior agreements.

Section 12: Changes to Terms of Service

You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms by posting updates to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes.
