G70 Forged 3/8" Eye Slip Hook w/Safety Latch & Attached .437 Welded Link
A 3/8" forged eye slip hook with a safety latch and a .437" welded link already attached. The eye style body hangs eye to eye off the welded link, which keeps the hook lined up with the pull instead of cocking sideways. The latch holds a chain link or ring captive so the connection does not drop out when the leg goes slack. Use the welded link as the attachment point for chain, a strap end fitting, or cluster rigging on a wrecker or car hauler. Working Load Limit is 6,600 lbs.
Grade 70 is a transport grade and is not rated for overhead lifting. Keep the load inside the rated Working Load Limit and inspect before every use. Take the hook out of service if the hook body, latch, or welded link is cracked, bent, gouged, or deformed.
